Mark is a statistical consultant in the Research Computing group of University Information Technology Services (UITS.) He acts as the leader for the Research and Development Support team, also within UITS. He is also involved with high performance computing (HPC), mostly in the area of grid computing and some other specialized applications.
Background & Education: Mark received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in the Educational Psychology, Department of the College of Education. His minor was in Management Information Systems. After a short time with the Human Factors Engineering department at IBM, he came to CCIT (now UITS) in 1986 to work for the Research Computing group.
